The PSE Group (Public Safety Equipment) has for over fifty years been one of the most innovative and successful manufacturing and marketing companies in the world for Automotive Emergency Lighting, Warning and Traffic Management. The PSE Group globally has four manufacturing operations with Code 3 and Kustom Signals in the USA, and Britax PMG and Premier Hazard in the UK. The group also includes Britax Automotive Equipment here in Australia and distribution operations in Germany and France.

Britax Automotive Equipment Australia commenced operation in 1992 as an importer and distributor for the Australasian region of internationally recognised brand names, synonymous with quality and value for money. Such brands in the Australian division include Britax beacons, Code 3 warning systems, Kustom Signal speed products, Will-Burt light towers, FRC auxiliary lighting, Tempest PPV blowers, Britax Automotive in-car solutions, plus a wide range of Cole Hersee switches.

The Emergency Services Division specialise in high performance emergency light and sound warning products including lightbars (such as the well known Code 3 Defender, MX7000 and Excalibur series), a wide variety of LED light warning systems, sirens and speakers, in-car digital video systems, radar and laser speed devices, a range of breath testing apparatus, and the latest in crime fighting automated number plate recognition systems.
