Xray Vision Remote Control Searchlights

With 120º vertical movement and 440º rotation, you can look up, look down, look all around, and you can be up to 75 metres away while you’re doing it. Perfect for guys repairing power poles at night, SES volunteers searching for people in need of help, or people needing to maneuver their boat into a harbour at night. And that’s just a few examples.

The Xray Vision Searchlights are dual speed and feature a wireless remote and/or a cable control option. The units are waterproof and sealed to an IP66 rating, and the lights come with four metres of wiring.

Available options include high intensity discharge or quartz halogen, permanent or magnetic mount, 12 or 24 volt, and black or white body case.

The QH shines 300 metres and the HID shines 500 metres.

Britax 7” Polycarbonate H4 Headlight Inserts

Don’t put up with pathetic lensed headlights any longer! These new Britax polycarbonate 7 inch headlight inserts are tough and break-resistant. They feature an optics-free lens and die-cast alloy aluminium vacuumised free-form reflector - just like the design of our driving light range. This means you get the same awesome light quality as a driving light but with your regular headlights (high and low beam H4).

They use the same free-form technology as modern headlight designs, making your early model Patrols and Landcruisers, plus many models of trucks and prime movers, up-to-date with the latest in headlight design and output.

The lights also feature an optional sealed park light, or you can just leave the silicon hold plug in it’s place. The lights are supplied with a premium quality Tungsram H4 12V 55/60W globe, however these are suitable to be upgraded with a Megalight Plus60 globe set or an Xray Vision H4 HID Conversion Kit.

The lights are well protected against the elements; featuring a sealed air breather and a silicon H4 sealing boot, the reflector will remain shiny and clean.

The lights are E Approved for use on Australian roads and suit applications such as 4WDs, commercial vehicles, transport vehicles, mining and agricultural machinery.

But wait, there’s a bit more! With the polycarbonate replacing the old fashioned glass, there is no need for headlight protectors that scratch and discolour with age. This leaves your vehicle looking good while producing the best light output possible!

Britax Heavy Duty Towing Mirrors

Ever thought you’d be better off with a genuine spare part from the vehicle manufacturer? Well Britax is the genuine OEM supplier of mirrors for Toyota Hiluxes, Mitsubishi Tritons, Mazda B Series, Ford Couriers and more.

And now for the best news: the mirror head used on the door bracket is the same one you can buy as a spare part (replacement mirror head), which is also the exact same mirror head on the Britax heavy duty tow mirror!!

What does that mean? OEM quality on spare parts, ute mirrors AND heavy duty towing mirrors. Add all that to cheaper pricing than other sub-standard brands and you’ve got a premium quality product range at an excellent value price.

So next time you think mirrors, think Britax. We are the largest supplier of aftermarket mirrors in Australia - so why would you settle for anyone less?

Xray Vision Quick Fit Wiring Harness

The new Xray Vision quick fit wiring harness takes the time and effort out of fitting auxiliary lights to any type of vehicle. The wiring is pre-configured, pre-measured, and even automatically adapts to positive and negative switching vehicles ... saving heaps of time and effort.

Here’s a summary of installing the harness in three easy steps

  1. Connect the headlight adaptor, mount the fused relay and connect the power cables
  2. Run wires to the driving lights and terminate, then connect the LED position lights to the park light feed
  3. Finally, run the switch cable into the cabin, then mount and connect the mouse switch

Xray Vision 160-S Series Stainless Steel Driving Lights

These little Xrays have all the performance of the 160 Series, but in a sleek and compact body. The 160-S Series combine great value for money, astonishing performance (even compared to bigger models), and best of all they look awesome on a polished alloy bar - especially with the blue filter lenses.

They may be compact, but they’re no gimmick. These lights feature high quality polished stainless steel construction with the trademark Xray ball joint mounting system. Unlike some other stainless lights on the market, the 160-S Series have a riveted dual plate design giving maximum strength and resistance to shock and vibration. The 160-S Series also feature the same legendary die-cast alloy free-form reflectors as the rest of the Xray range. In fact, they have the exact reflectors that are in the current 160 Series - so anyone who’s seen them working in our Britax lightbooth will attest that they’re some serious lighting gear.

Xray Vision LED Worklights

The new Xray Vision LED Worklights are tough, focused, cheap to run, and are extremely bright. Xray Vision worklights already have an awesome reputation for reliability and durability, but now we’re taking it a giant leap further. LEDs are solid state, meaning there are no filaments to break and no delicate components that are prone to damage. This means you could drive through an open pit coal mine or a rough outback road and you won’t have any vibration or shock failures with the LEDs.

And here’s another mind blowing feature. Quartz halogen globes have an average life span of about 200 hours of operation. HID globes last about ten times as long at 2000 hours of use. So I know what you think I’m going to say: LEDs are ten times an HID globe ... well, no. Not 20,000 hours ... not double that at 40,000 hours ... but 50,000 hours of operation. That’s long enough to run constantly for nearly six years! That’s longer than any other type of light source on the market.

These little lights are strong: polycarbonate optics-free lenses, die-cast alloy housing, high performance free-form reflectors, stainless steel hardware (M10 bolt) and mounting bracket. The LED worklights also feature the Xray anti-shock mounting system that uses an ABS support bushing and neoprene torque stabiliser to reduce shock and vibration that comes from mining and construction trucks, work trucks or machinery.

So these lights are ultra strong, have a long service life and are nice and bright (the round worklight emits 2500cd and the oval worklight produces 3000cd), but wait, there’s more: low power consumption with 14 and 18 watts respectively for the round and oval versions. Sealed deutsch connectors to keep out the wire-eating nasties. Multi-voltage with a range of 9 to 30 volts. And a beam pattern that’s 10 degrees high and 30 degrees wide.

Britax Electric Mirrors

Think to yourself: how many different types of vehicle are you running in your fleet at any one time. And of those vehicles, how many of them are operated in tight suburban streets? How many are driven by different drivers from day to day? How many are dual control and driven from the left and right side?

A perfect safety solution for changing drivers, weather, conditions and operating positions, is the new Britax heated electric mirror range. These mirrors are a split design: the top section is a massive flat glass that is heated and electrically adjustable meaning it can be changed in an instant to suit any conditions; and the lower section is a convex spotter mirror which helps with everything from eliminating blind spots to seeing how close the vehicle is to a gutter - and this section is also heated for those frosty early morning starts.

These mirrors are universal (left or right hand mounting), are available in 12 or 24 volt, and come in two size variations with universal attachment.

Britax Code3 LED Beacons

When maintaining your vehicle or vehicle fleet, an important thing to check is how your amber beacons are going. If they are looking a bit tired, maybe you should checkout the new Britax Code3 LSS222 LED Beacon range featuring 16 high output LEDs, 40 flash patterns including simulated rotate patterns, and a tough polycarbonate lens.

The LSS222 range are multivoltage, draw only 1A at 12 volts, and never need replacement globes due to the long life LEDs - so you won’t need to worry about them again for a long time!

Available in various colour combinations and mounting options (including magnetic base versions), the LSS222 joins the CL199 as one of the most advanced warning beacons on the market.

Tungsram Megalight Performance Quartz Halogen Globe Range

The new Tungsram Megalight range of performance upgrade quartz halogen globes are designed to provide superior light output and light colour over standard headlight globes—without using any additional power and remaining E marked and legal for use on Australian roads.

These performance globes use a heavier duty filament that is thicker, stronger and has additional turns, have a superior mix of gases including Xenon, argon and crypton—all at much higher pressure, and also higher quality silica glass that is stronger and thicker to cope with the increase in temperature and pressure. The globe range is available in trade style boxes or in display ready retail packaging. Available globe types include H1, H3, H4 and H7.

The range incorporates the Plus60 and Plus50 globes in clear glass, the Fusion range which feature a split blue and clear glass, the Drive range which has a light blue coating on the glass, and the Storm range that has a rich blue coating to create the ultimate white light output.

Xray Vision 50W HID Conversion Kits

The Xray Vision range of 35W HID Conversion Kits has already made it’s name in the marketplace as high quality, high performance and excellent value for money. These 35W HID kits produce around three times the output of a standard 55W quartz halogen globe.

The big news from Britax is the new range of 50W HID kits that produce an astounding six times the lumen output of a standard 55W QH globe, while still consuming 5W less power. We are also pleased to announce that the quality of the kits has increased (from excellent to awesome), and are now of a standard that exceeds even the OEM specifications used by vehicle manufacturers.

The kits are available in most standard globe types, including H4 with high and low beam switching, and have the option of specifying 4200K, 5000K or 6000K HID globes. The 35W kits have also been upgraded to produce better output with better quality components - again available in the same globe types and colour temperatures as the 50W range.

Code3 Defender LED Lightbar

The Code3 Defender lightbar features the truly unique, patent-pending TriCore™ technology which constitutes a quantum leap forward in signal brightness - far exceeding the intensity and quality of any other system currently on the market.

Unlike traditional LED lightbars that suffer from light intensity drop-off at key angles, the TriCore system maintains its astonishing visibility at a full 360 degrees. It is also designed with high quality componentry so that the LED brightness won’t fade over time. Watt for watt, the TriCore technology is the most efficient emergency warning light ever made.

Lightbars are custom made to order, and can feature various sizes, LED colours and features such as bright white LED takedown or alley lights.

Cole Hersee LED Rocker Switches

The 58312 Series switches feature modern LED technology which gives a wide illumination angle, low power consumption and long service life meaning no globes to change. With silver contacts for superior switching performance, and modern rounded edges and actuators, these matte finish switches fit perfectly into any modern vehicle or machine.

All the switches are rated to IP66 making them truly versatile and extremely long lasting—ideal for mining, marine and other harsh environment applications. The 58311 Series are a matching style without the pilot light in the actuator, allowing for a complete set of matching switches for any dashboard application. The 58311 Series are available in both single pole and dual pole.

The new LED rocker switches are available in dependent and independent illumination variations. The dependent LEDs allow for lit under load applications such as switching on a floodlight. The independent LEDs have a separate circuit connection to operate the pilot, so these switches can be used to illuminate independent to the switch position - such as coming on with the dash lights. On top of this, there are switches that feature combinations of both with dual pilot LEDs.

Britax Independent Power Source

Many modern cars feature complicated electronic ECUs to run their electrical and lighting systems—systems that can start faulting once auxiliary or trailer lighting is connected. This electronic unit from Britax isolates the vehicle’s electrical system from the effects of connecting a trailer or other system allowing for seamless integration. The ‘E’ (solid state) model is recommended for modern vehicles used for towing including late model BMWs and other later model European vehicles.

Britax Reverse Alarms Featuring Hush)))Up Auto Volume Technology

The Britax Automotive Equipment complete range of reverse alarms has an alarm to suit every application from forklifts to transport to mining. The range includes models with the exclusive Hush)))Up automatic volume control adjustment.

The range features solid state electronics that are polarity, spike and surge protected. The alarms work on positive or negative ground systems and the rear of the speaker in each is encapsulated in epoxy. They are vibration, water and dust resistant, work in temperatures between -30ºC and 50ºC, and are rated +/- 4 decibels at four feet. With a current draw of less than 0.6A, these units are stong, powerful, and come with a two year warranty.
