NEW APPOINTMENTS - Marketing Department

Britax expanded its marketing and design capabilities in mid 2008 with the appointment of Trent Whayman as Promotions Coordinator and Ben Johnston as Marketing Communications Manager. Trent has the design and desktop skills to match his corrupt sense of humour. He has already proved to be a wizard with customer brochures and has a knack for all things interactive and online. Ben has a background in corporate communications and advertising, and also features a somewhat unscrupulous wit. With his prior experience designing for national clients and a specialisation in corporate visual identity, Ben has begun orchestrating the future brand direction of Britax and is loving every minute of it.

NEW APPOINTMENTS

Graham Gearing was appointed as National Product Manager in January 2006. In a relatively short time, Graham has contributed immensely to improving the current variety of Britax products and is heavily involved in the development and quality control of new product being introduced to the range. Graham's role is critical to a long-term strategy that includes a strong emphasis on new product introductions.

Lance Buzza has taken over the role of Customer Service Manager. Lance has many years of automotive industry experience and a benevolent nature, both qualities that will ensure he succeeds in his new position. Be sure to introduce yourself if you get him on the phone.

In 2005 Britax Australia appointed Warren Reeve as the Managing Director. Warren has been a Director of the company since 2000. During his time at the helm, Warren has executed some strategic restructuring through the ranks of Britax, especially in the Aftermarket side of the business.

November 2005 saw the appointment of Ross Ollington as the new Aftermarket National Sales and Marketing Manager. Since joining the Britax team, Ross has combined his years of automotive electrical experience in technical sales roles with a keen sense of market trends to bring a fresh drive and direction to the Aftermarket division. With a lead by example approach, Ross will no doubt play a big part in Britax's future.
